The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive, we are looking to appoint a Manager, People and Culture whose purpose is to lead the development and delivery of human resource and organisational development practices that support and enable the senior leadership team and their teams (approximately 60 people) to deliver strategic and day-to-day business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent, drive and further influence the core values that guide the organisation and foster a collaborative and cross-functional approach
  • Have a true understanding of what success looks like for the organisation’s people leaders, and support them to implement practices and frameworks that will help their teams realise that success
  • Oversee effective recruitment, employee experience, engagement, performance management, remuneration structures, learning and development and the wellness programme
  • Measure and report on key human resource drivers, ensure "fit for purpose" human resource policies and manage the HRIS system
  • Lead the industrial relations strategy and support negotiations

 

Skills and Experience

This role requires an experienced, down to earth and innovative human resource practitioner who can authentically connect and build great relationships with the team. You will be a trusted advisor and support the senior leadership team and their managers to foster an outstanding culture and further build the capability within their teams. We are looking for someone who embraces change and has solid experience supporting people through it. A relevant qualification and experience in a similar role are essential.

The possibility is open for the right person to work four days per week. You must also be able to travel to the Wanaka office at least once per month.
